As we announced earlier this year, the Coronavirus pandemic impacted our business in ways we could never have imagined. While we have remained committed on our mission to open, inform and connect the global fashion industry, this new business environment has forced us to approach problems with renewed innovation, creativity and purpose.
No more is this the case than with our China business. We have spent the past 6 months exploring strategic options to decide the best way for BoF to continue in what is one of the most important markets in the world for the entire fashion industry.
Internal discussions led to meetings with external parties and we now find ourselves close to confirming a way forward for BoF China. We are excited about this opportunity and hope to be able to share details with you before the end of the year.
However, as of today we will be temporarily pausing the publishing of content on our China channels as part of this reorganisation.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you, our BoF China community, for your ongoing support, from our very first post in 2015, to major events such as the BoF China Summit and the BoF China Prize, all of which came to life because of you.
Finally, we also want to thank the BoF China editorial team, without whom we would never have been able to create and develop one of the most exciting media voices in the Chinese fashion industry. The editorial team is the lifeblood of any high quality media organisation and BoF China is no exception.
